之前我都用 VanDyke Software 的 SecureCRT 當 SSH client .
今天測試了 5.0 BETA4 , 原本感覺不錯.
因為支援了分頁, 可以不用開那麼多視窗.
可是…..
當我要打中文時, 我發現我找不到可以讓我打出中文的選項…. orz
所以, 我改用 putty 了.
然後我多用了 Pageant , 讓它常駐在系統列, 要開啟 ssh connection 時只要對著系統列的圖示點右鍵後就可以打開. 
( 我是懶人….

因為在我重灌前, 我的電腦三不五時會整個當掉, 螢幕顯示整個停住, 滑鼠不能動, 只能直接按 reset .
當時我懷疑是硬碟有問題, 所以開始找硬碟檢測軟體, 然後我發現了 HD Tune .
這個軟體包含了這些功能 :
硬碟的效能測試其實跟 HD Tach 的功能類似, 而 S.M.A.R.T. 資訊也有許多軟體能夠提供.
所以我覺得這套軟體所提供的功能中, 比較特別的地方是硬碟的總共使用時間, 還有可以直接用這套軟體看出硬碟資訊.
目前的版本是 2.10 , 下載點在這 , 有興趣的人可以用看看.

因為我很懶惰, 不想一個一個慢慢裝, 所以我都用 Codec pack .
原本我是使用 K-Lite CodecPack , 不過它變成要收錢的軟體, 所以我放棄了.
前幾天重灌時, 我發現免費, 而且能夠一次解決的 Codec pack , 就是 CodecPack – All in 1 .
之前安裝 K-Lite CodecPack 時還得自己裝 VobSub , 而且當初沒有 Ogg 格式的 codec , 現在用 CodecPack – All in 1 , 一次全部搞定.
裝完最新的 6.0.2.6 之後包含了這些 Video Codec :

而且 6.0.2.6 還包含了 update agent , 感覺很棒!

應該有很多網頁設計者, Blog 主人都有 Google adsense 的帳號了吧!?
之前我也申請了一個, 不過, 因為要看廣告與搜尋的統計報告時得自己連到網頁上, 自行輸入帳號與密碼, 所以我很少上去看報告 ( 講坦白一點就是懶…. orz ) .
剛剛看到 Adsense Notifier 這個 Firefox extension , 所以就裝起來看看.
這個模組設定不算繁雜, 畫面是這個樣子 :
設定完成後, 狀態列會有多出這塊區域 :
感覺還蠻不錯的, 有興趣的人可以裝來試用看看.

在 shakalaca 長輩 那邊看到 這篇 , 裡面有 46 種好用的免費軟體 這個連結.
看了一下之後, 發現幾個好用的沒被列上去. 
1. Spybot
2. ClamWin
之前曾經在網路上被批的 MS 的 AntiSpyware 倒是被列進去了. O_O
Ad-Aware 跟 Spybot 我都用過, 而且, 我覺得 Spybot 比 Ad-Aware 好.
ClamWin 的話, 我還是覺得它的病毒定義太少. ( 雖然我正在用…orz )

Technologically savvy users are merging these technologies to “Skypecast”, using Skype”s service to distribute recordings across the internet for free. This allows expert users to run their own mini-radio stations, which can be accessed by any Skype user. Skype does not actively support these uses, but encourages its users to find new applications for their service.

剛剛在 CNET News.com 看到 這篇 .
The vulnerabilities allow for remote code execution with no actions from the computer user, eEye said. Although the flaws would not allow self-propagating worms to infiltrate a system, there is the potential of attackers installing backdoor Trojans without a person”s knowledge, Ben Nagy, an eEye senior security engineer, said Friday.
看來頗恐怖啊, 不知道 MS 啥時會放 patch ? 
不過對我來說好像不是很重要, 我跳槽 Firefox 有一段時間了, 而且我都用 OpenWebMail 在收/送信 .

我之前在 TinyURL 與 Spam mail 有提到過 , 我在一些 mail server 上使用了 AMaVIS 搭配 F-Prot , Dr.Web , ClamAV 判斷與過濾病毒信.
我剛剛看到了 ClamWin 這套運作於 Windows 上的掃毒軟體, 所以在這邊講一下.
官方網頁上說的很清楚 :
ClamWin is a Free Antivirus for Microsoft Windows 98/Me/2000/XP/2003. It provides a graphical user interface to the Clam AntiVirus engine.
ClamWin Free Antivirus uses the GNU General Public License by the Free Software Foundation and is free (as in freedom) software.
剛剛安裝完之後看了一下 database :

main.cvd is up to date (version: 30, sigs: 31086, f-level: 4, builder: tkojm)
daily.cvd is up to date (version: 795, sigs: 1146, f-level: 4, builder: trog)
好像少了點. O_O
不過, 我感覺 ClamAV 在 mail server 上面運作的成果還不錯, 所以繼續用看看囉.

FireTune – FireFox 效能調整軟體
